Ether is holding onto its position as the largest altcoin by market cap, which currently stands around $31.5 billion.
The second-largest altcoin, Ripple's XRP, has a market cap of $16.9 billion at press time.

As Cointelegraph reported yesterday, daily transactions registered on the Ethereum network exceeded one million yesterday, June 28, for the first time since May 2018.
